TODAY

After morning quiet time and devotion and running some church errands, I helped Brother Leon Reynolds paint the first coat on the basement floor. It is looking clean and fresh. We are going to finish tomorrow by putting on the clear coat.

Karen and I left to visit with the family of Bishop Charles Gary in East Nashville, Phillips Robinson Funeral Home. We left around 2:30 pm and arrived around 4:50 pm just as State Overseer E. C. McKinley and wife Debra arrived. We visited with Sister Gary and the family. There were several flowers and visitors were coming and going. Another soldier of the cross has entered the final place of rest with Jesus.

Karen and I visited with some church friends (Brother O. B. and Sister Carolyn Stewart) who had called us earlier in the day and invited us to join them for dinner. We enjoyed the visit and fellowship. We pastored this couple at East Nashville. We are thankful for God's people everywhere. Their hospitality is beyond words of appreciation.
