YESTERDAY AND TODAY

Thank God for a great day Sunday in our am and pm services. There were 5 in the altar Sunday morning and we were blessed to have the newer people that continue to come to our services. The Davis family was with us including Jimmy Davis and wife Virginia, Jimmy's mother Willowdene, Jimmy and Virginia's Son Jeff and wife April and three children (Joshua, Jonah, Jordan) Daughter Carla Lawton and two children. Mike, Lisa and Tina were there (sorry I don't remember the last names and have misplaced where I wrote them down) Lisa and Tina were in the altar. Also Tyler Nicholson, Mr. Manus and Son Cody were there. We are thankful for Rev. Churck Burks and wife Ragene who are coming and assisting in the ministry. Praise God for one who was saved.

Sunday evening was a glorious time. We were blessed by the music of Mark (Moses) Cunningham. I met him at Wal-Mart as he was playing and singing. I invited him and he came and sang some gospel and patriotic songs. Mark is an advocate for the ten commandments and gave the church an American flag with the ten commandments on it. We enjoyed his singing and testimony.

I walked 2.5 miles this morning as I meditated and prayed. I called and set up the prayer meeting for Wednesday night at the R. B. Wilson Apartment lobby. There are 2 new tenants there now and we are inviting everyone to come that will. Last month we had 5 from the apartments along with Sister Jennie Sanders, 88 year old member of the church. Karen and I have been busy getting tax records, monthly reports, and other office work done today as well.

Jason called yesterday and today. The Renaissance Choir left Friday and sang in Mt. Pleasant, AR Fri. nite and then went on to Marshall Texas and sang Sat nite then again Sun. morning. Then traveled to Houston and perfromed last nite and today had the day off. He called from a mall in Houston where he and the some other choir members were. They are to be in Austin on Tues nite for a concert. Then off to San Antonio for another concert on Wed. nite and at Sea World on Thurs. mid-morning and the rest of the day free at Sea World on Thurs. Then on to Bedford, TX the next day to sing that nite. Then to Forth Worth to sing Friday nite and then to Dallas Sunday for a concert. Then leave for home Sunday evening. We miss him but know that he is enjoying traveling and singing.
