PRAYER MEETING

The prayer meeting at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center was great. Three were 15 present and five of them were residents of the facility. We were blessed to minister to Charlie Sutton, Bonnie Curtis, Mary Rosel, Catherine Parker and Betty Kirby from the center. We prayed for several requests, sang worship songs and some testified. Sister Parker (one of the two African American sisters present) sang, "Swing Low Sweet Chariot." That is a treat for us as she sings it with great spirit and enthusiasm. We prayed for the leaders throughout the world, in government, in churches, in the homes. We prayed for lost loved ones and for revival to break out in our community. Each one of the members who attended have made positive statements about the prayer meetings and the outreach to minister to those in our community who desire to be in church but cannot for physical reasons.

Sister Bonnie Curtis, member of the church, testified and thanked the church for coming. We sang an early happy birthday to her. She will be 86 next week.

We thank God for this opportunity to minister in our community.
