WEDNESDAY FEB. 15, 2005

Today has been another great day in the Lord. It is 12:30 am Thursday morning as I type this. Today we continued plans for the upcoming Ham Breakfast scheduled for this coming Saturday to help needy youth attend youth camp this summer. Karen called several about the breakfast and encouraged them to participate and come eat with us. We also reminded them of the prayer meeting for tonight.

Siste Jennie Sanders called and informed me that the place for the prayer meeting is heated and she will have the thermostat adjusted. We visited the Moores at the Medical Clinic in McKenzie around 12-1 p. and encouraged the Moore family and encourged Travis. He has a concussion and has to take it slow and easy for several weeks. We saw Debbie Eaton and Dee Walker who both work there - Debbie and Ronnie now attend the Jackson Church. Dee has not been to church in a while and we spoke to her, she was very friendly but has not been to church in a while. We got back home around 1:15 and Karen and I ate lunch and rested a while. Brother J. E. Moore called at about 2 p. and asked for continued prayer for Sister Moore who fell a couple weeks ago and cannot get around very well. Brother Moore wants to get back to church but has to stay with her until she gets her electric chair and can get up on her own. We did some more calling and continue to pray for Travis.

From 3-5:30 p I studied and meditated for the prayer meeting tonight. We left around 6:15 p to get any chairs set up and to give sister Jennie some requested items. The prayer meeting was great from 6:45-8 p. We fellowshipped a while after church. I have been studying on the doctorate and for Sunday messages in between all the other.

God bless and may you rest in him. . .til next time. . . .
