Thank God for another great Sunday. The presence of the Lord was awesome in each Service. People were rejoicing and worshipping as the presence of the Lord manifested in the am service. Several were in the altar as the Lori and Paul Rivera sang the song, "Jesus Has His Hand On Me." Jimmy and Virgina Davis's daughter Carla came to the altar with tears flowing. God blessed mightily as the spirit flowed. Others were in the altar seeking God. The message, #3 in a series on Walking In the Spirit, Pressing Into the Kingdom emphasizing the fruit of the Spirit, gentleness challenged us all to seek for the gentleness of God. David said thats what made him great - the gentleness of God.
The evening service was also charged with the presence of God as we sang hyms of praise and worship choruses. The presence of God flowed as people came to the altar to be prayed for with hands uplifted and tears flowing in worship. We are so thankful for the presence of the Dove in our services.
After the morning service, Karen and I went to lunch with Reverand and Mrs. Chuck Burks and Kathy Boone and her little grandson, Tristen. Rev. Burks is between pastorates and has pastored or assisted in independent churches ranging from 50-500. Welcome to the Church of God of Prophecy, Reverand and Mrs. Burks.
