YOUTH MOVING FOWARD

Thank God for the youth that met after church this past Sunday. Brother Paul Rivera, Youth Minister and myself spearheaded this time. The youth enjoyed pizza and drinks and then we did some planning and played some board games.

We thank God for those who attended including: Paul Rivera, Lori Rivera, Montana Maness, Dakota Maness, Wesley Spangle, Jacob Davis, B. J. Lawrence, Joyce Grace, Karen Gordon, Santana Cunningham, Jason Gordon, Daniel (Lori’s Friend), and Tyler Lawton.

The youth gathered around the piano and practiced some choruses for their worship time next Sunday evening. They will be leading the Sunday evening service.

The youth will be leading the services on each first and third Sunday evening of each month and will also plan the speaker for the evening. They will have the devotional, lead singing, have special singing, receive the offering, etc. Brother Paul will lead the youth in this ministry. We pray the Holy Ghost charges this time with His direction, power and anointing.

The youth also scheduled Saturday, February 10 at 7 pm for a sweetheart banquet. The youth will be preparing and serving a meal to the older adults to raise some funds for future activity.

The youth will also be working closely with the Pastor and Youth Minister in the upcoming revival. We will be doing some times of special and specific prayer for the lost, for witnessing, for boldness, and for open doors to minister to those who need Jesus.

We enjoyed a good time of playing Uno Attack and Sequence. Thank God for the youth of the church and their ministry for the Lord. We love our children and youth.
