PASTOR'S NOTES

COMPLACENCY: Complacency is another word for “half-heartedness,” or apathy. Complacency kills more churches than false doctrines, hypocrites, or a host of other problems that a church may have. Complacency is being satisfied with the status quo. It is mediocrity and being content with the way things are.

PASSION: Passion is a red hot desire to progress and see ministry being done done. It was the passion of Christ to die on the cross for a lost and dying world. He fulfilled His passion. What is your passion? Are you complacent or apathetic about the things of God or are you passionate. For a church to do ministry effectively, it must be passionate. Passionate leaders are involved in the local church’s ministry and give their best. Passion must be in the heart and life of the Pastor, the leaders and the members for a church to minister as Christ desires.
