LOCAL LEADERS

As of this past Sunday all local leadership positions are open. The only one that will continue at this time is Sister Cathy Coleman as secretary/clerk/treasurer. She volunteered and felt led of the Lord to labor in this ministry after Sister Rita Moore resigned. After prayer and counsel she was appointed by the pastor and affirmed and accepted by the local church in business session.

We are in prayer seeking the Lord's will for each ministry in the local church. God will place each one in the local ministry as He has gifted each one and knows the willingness and availability of each one. It is time to seek the Lord for His guidance, favor and blessing in each one's ministry - from teaching, to serving, to giving, to helping, to every type of ministry that God places in the body.

Romans 12:4-6a For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us. . .

1 Cor. 12:28 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Ephesians 4:7-11 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers. . .

May God richly bless you as you embrace the future with His will in mind. Leaders will emerge as every member discovers their gifts and callings. The Body of Christ comes alive as every member is fitly joined together.
