TODAY - PRAYER REQUEST

Today Sister Karen and I mowed the lot next to the church and the front of the church. We then went visiting. We visited with Sister Ruth King and Daughter Rita in Bruceton, TN. We enjoyed a good visit and we prayed together. It was an enjoyable time. I took some pictures of Sister Ruth and Rita and also some pictures of her other daughter's children's pictures (Sister Ruth's grandchildren). They live in Michigan.

We then went to Bethel College in McKenzie and visited with our son and took him some needed items. He is continuing in the Music major and sings with the Renaissance Choir. We thank God that Jason is continuing in his studies and we pray for him.

Then we went and visited with Rita and James Moore. James is having knee problems from a vehicle accident he had several years ago. We enjoyed a good visit and prayed for James. He may need surgery in the future. We also saw Travis and Brittany at Brother James.

We then visited with Brother J. E. and Sister Marie Moore. We enjoyed a good visit with them and prayed with them. We usually have a good time and a lot of laughs visiting with Brother J. E. He keeps us in "stitches." Guess you know what that means if you are a Southerner.

Karen and I have enjoyed a great day of visiting with members and friends and enjoyed the times of prayer together.

This is Sister Rita, Sister King's daughter.

This is Sister Ruth King. She and Rita are a great blessing to us.

This is Sister Ruth's grandson, Preston, who lives in Michigan.

This is Sister Ruth's granddaughter, Brooke, who lives in Michigan.

Jason is standing in front of one of the Bethel College buildings. He is doing work-study this year as a dorm monitor. He worked all day today and will work until 1 am in the morning. We are requesting prayer for him. He has been sick with a stomach virus and also some flu-like symptoms. He has to go for tests this coming Thursday for some type of bacteria in his stomach lining.
