Karen and I went to visit with family out of town yesterday evening and today. We had a good trip. We purposed to visit our family members (daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren) once every month or so. It takes a day or so but we believe that family is very important. Sarah, Chris and little Aviana were doing well. We enjoyed being with them.
Karen and I also visited some friends (Sherrills and Longs) while we were there. We went with the Longs to their daughter's (Danielle) school carnival and visited with them. We also visited Mr. Sherrill who is continuing to have medical treatment for cancer. Sister Sherrill was at a benefit singing at Sarah's and Chris's church and she asked us to come visit them. We had a good visit and time of prayer.
