Sister Susise (Women's Ministry Leader) and Sister Josie came by at 12:15 pm today to get Karen to go buy Christmas groceries and toys for a needy family. Sister Karen and I are going to deliver these items to this family, Rev. Chuck Burks family, in a while.
I am finishing the Candlelight Christmas Program insert for the bulletin tomorrow. Karen and I are going to Jackson this evening to do some shopping and have a meal with some of our friends here at the church (Don and Kathy). Karen expressed excitement about the Candlelight Service tomorrow. She has been working diligently to get the poems and readings ready along with the song.
We want it to be a special day for the people and for worshipping our Savior who was born Immaculate and Incarnate.
