Karen and I left for Nashville early yesterday morning. She is teaching 5th grade at Criswell Middle School. I am continuing to study on the Doctor of Ministry courses in the libraries at Nashville and at college and university libraries where I can get reference materials. We drove in yesterday evening and went to visit Leon and Susie Reynolds.
We visited for a while with them and prayed for Sister Susie and Brother Leon. Both have been sick. He has been out of church for the past couple weeks with chest congestion. She has been diagnosed with a benign tumor closely connected to her spine (inoperable). This causes pain and much discomfort. We had a good season of prayer with both and left feeling that God met with us. We know that He is the HEALER! Both Sister Susie and Brother Leon are a great blessing to the church serving as Women's Ministry Leader and Sunday School Superintendent.
We are continuing to pray for all the families of the church here at Huntingdon and also the lost in our community and county.
