Today's scripture is a classic. It is found in John 3:16, 17, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." Notice the scripture says God SO LOVED. The gift was His only begotten son. He did not send Jesus to condemn but sent him that the world through him might be saved. Is He your Savior? What an awesome God we serve.
Since the last post the we have had the Fish Fry raising over $500.00 for the building program of the church. Today Sister Gordon ministered to the church here at Huntingdon. She reported that the services went well. I have been asked by the State Overseer, E. C. McKinley, to minister at Jackson for a few weeks until their new pastor, Brother Aaron Ward assume the pastorate the first of November. We are praying for the church at Jackson that God will pour out his richest blessings on them. Until next time - keep on flying with Jesus.
