Today is another awesome day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Our service last night was very short. We had a good time of singing and a short devotion by my wife and then she suddenly announced something from the pulpit. I was surprised by a birthday party from the church. A BIG THANK YOU to all the fine folks at Huntingdon Church of God of Prophecy.

It is amazing how the 1970's and 80's seem only a very few years ago. When I passed the 40 year mark someone gave me a mug which said, "lordy, lordy someone's 40." When I passed the 50 year mark, my second daughter, Heather, gave me a mug which said, "the legend lives on." I wonder what I will get when I turn 60. Well, 56 is not too far away.

I am thankful for the all the wonderful people here at Huntingdon. We are blessed to be here with such great people. They are seeking to have a vibrant local church reaching out to the community. As pastor of the Huntingdon Church of God of Prophecy, I would like to thank the congregation for all the hard work they have been doing. We are a church that loves God, each other and the many friends and families that make up Carroll County. This coming month in October we are looking forward to some great spiritual, social and community events. Along with our regular services we are praying, planning and seeking God for the following. . . .

October 8, from 4-7 pm will be the FISHERS OF MEN FISH FRY. Proceeds will go to the development of our new church property. There will be fish, white beans, cole slaw, hushpuppies, dessert and drink. The cost is $7.00 per adult and $4.00 under age 10.

October 15, from 5 pm until will be a community "BLOCK PARTY" or Community Fellowship. Our church will be visiting the homes in the church area to give announcements for this time of friendly fellowship. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, (each one will voluntarily bring other dishes), and all the trimmings. We plan a bonfire with marshmallows. This will be a time to get acquainted with our neighbors to let them know we are here and we want to be friends. This will be held on the grounds of the church or in the basement of there is inclement weather.

October 23, from 10:30 until will be HOMECOMING. All former members, family and friends and present members are invited to this time of fellowship and spiritual feast. Guest Speaker will be Tennessee Church of God of Prophecy State Overseer, Dr. E. C. McKinley of Hendersonville, TN. Guest Singers will be By Faith of Manchester, TN. There will be worship in preaching, singing, and testimonies. There will also be a meal as the members and friends bring their favorite dishes.

We want to thank God for the new visitors that have recently come to the church. Several new children and adults have been attending over the past several weeks. For this we give the Lord praise.

Sister Gordon and I also thank God for the contacts we made at the neighborhood Laundromat last night. We went there on a servant evangelism project to give quarters to the ones who came in as an act of God's kindness and love. We met four different families. One couple approached us and ask where we live and what church we attend. We introduced ourselves to them and also shared our testimony of God's saving grace in our lives. The couple has recently moved in the area and are building a new house out in a very rural area, close to some of our members. The man, Marshall Walker, also told us he is building some cabins on his property in the future for people to come and seek for "inner healing." He asked if he could come visit and speak to us further sometime. We gave him our church card and told him we would be happy to have them come visit us.

We are thankful for all that God is doing in our part of the world. To Him Be Glory!

Greetings to one and all. It has been very disturbing to watch the disasters from hurricane Katrina and Rita over the past few weeks. We are praying here at the Huntingdon Church for the folks that are affected by this terrible ordeal.

Sister Gordon and I continue to visit with the members and friends here at Huntingdon. We visited with Sister Lenne Mae Crossno this past week in McKenzie Rehab Center. We visited with Alton and Donna Crossno in their beautiful home out in the country. It was really like being out in the distanct woods somewhere. We had a great time of visit and prayer together. Plans are continuing with the "Community Fellowship" which is scheduled for October 15. We are looking forward to meeting and greeting those who come from our neighborhood to a time of fellowship and food.

The Fishers of Men Fish Fry will be held on October 8 from 4-7 pm. The funds will go to help us develop our new property. We are planning to build a pavillion as soon as we can get the funds to begin the project. We also are working to pay the property off.

We are thankful to be back home from an enjoyable trip. Sister Gordon and I had a wonderful time of vacation - September 12-17. It was just great to be away for a few days with Sister Gordon to relax and get refreshed. We thank the church for encouraging us to get away for this time of rest. We also enjoyed being in church on Wednesday evening with the folks at Evansville, IN and their Pastor Brother William Gaddis.

This past Sunday's services were great. There were about 15 visitors present and also our regular people. We are still encouraging the Children's ministry and the Youth Ministry. We have also scheduled a Fish Fry for October 7. This will go to help pay for the new property development. We are also planning a "Block Fellowship" for our community. We will be inviting neighbors to come and have a meal simply to show our friendship and love to them. The church has recently given over $850 to our mission nations of Sudan and Ugandi. We have also received over $460 to Katrina relief in Louisiana. We thank God for allowing us to give to others in need.

The leaders here are working together to reach out to the lost in our community. The services here are charged with great spiritual worship and people are being blessed of the Lord. We give God all the praise. Let us go forward with the Lord!

Greetings! Sister Gordon and I will be taking a few days vacation this week (12th-17th). We are very thankful for all the blessings that God has bestowed upon us. Jason will be at our house and will be taking care of things while we away. Until next time. . .

This is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. It is amazing to watch the response to the disaster in the Gulf Coast States. Here in West Tennessee it is calm and houses are in order, trees are standing, buildings are still on their foundations and things are pretty much normal. Our friends in the lower parts of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama are still working to get their lives back to some semblance of normalcy. Our church here has sent money to one of our overseers through our TN State Office and have been praying for the continued efforts of rescue, relief and rebuilding there. It is good to see the reports of flood water dropping daily in New Orleans and debri and damaged housing being moved as plans begin to rebuild all throughout the damaged area. Lets keep praying for our friends there and sending support. Americans are giving people and God will help us become stronger as we give and trust in HIM.

Sister Karen and I continue to visit with members and friends of the church here and know that God is still reaching out through the power of the Holy Spirit to bless all who come to Jesus. In the past two weeks we visited with J. C. and Sister Brownie Palmer who had surgery a few weeks ago for carpal tunnel. She is having some complications and also fell last week and hurt her back. She desires our prayers. We also went to visit with Lois Thomas who has been sick. We left our note on her door. We visited with Bonnie (Crossno) Curtis in the Huntingdon Rehab Center and the Lord really blessed her as we prayed and ministered communion to her. We visited with Sister Mildred Stacy and prayed with her. She had carpal tunnel surgery a couple months ago and continues to have some complications and also severe arthritis. We visited with James and Rita Moore and prayed with them and their son Travis. We visited with J. E. and Marie Moore and prayed with Sister Moore who continues to have problems with diabetes and other medical problems. We visited with Brandon and Amber Moore and prayed with them. There are many others who need someone to reach and minister to them. There are also people on every street in our county who need the Savior, Jesus Christ. Let us be witnesses unto Him.

Since our last post a disaster and now a horrific crisis has kept me and my family glued to the news and praying for those in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Many thousands of citizens have been displaced from their homes because of hurricane Katrina. According to reports there are many more to be moved to instate facilities (community buildings, hospitals, nursing homes, churches, homes, etc.) that are already being filled up. Here in Huntingdon some 500 will be brought and placed in nursing homes, community buildings and homes. I have offered a place for 2 or 3 in our home and the possibility of several sleeping on pallets and or air mattresses in the basement of our church. Yes we have a challenge to care for these people and by the Lord's help and the unity of the people in this country it can and will be done. Necessity is the cry of the moment. . . .

According to reports by the State Overseer of the Church of God of Prophecy in Mississippi, all of the church buildins there on the Gulf and instate withstood the storm and are still standing. For this we give God the praise. Now we must reach out to those who were not so blessed.

For the past week Sister Gordon and I have been visiting with members and new contacts. We have also been to a funeral, church wake (we visited the family of Thomas and Barbara Underwood who were killed in a car accident) and to the hospital to sit with Sister Susie Reynolds who had knee surgery. We have visited several new contacts and shared with them. God has opened the door to pray in several of these homes and contacts. We also visited with Sister Lenne Mae Crossno in McKenzie Rehabilitation Home. She expressed that she misses church and still prays for the church. We also visited with Sister Jennie Sanders and had a great time of prayer in her home.

The church here at Huntingdon is continuing to seek God for the vision that we believe God has given us, 1. to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, 2. to seek for healing and restoration of the local church here (members in particular) and 3. to be involved in the Great Commission by the power of the Great Commandment. Surely God will guide us as we continue in this vision. We also have property (7.6 acres) which we are working towards developing new buildings for the ministry at Huntingdon, Tennessee.

This coming weekend on Sunday evening at 6:30 pm, guest singers, By Faith, will be with us in our monthly Gospel singing. We are praying that God will bless and there will be salvation, Holy Ghost Baptism, deliverance and healing.

Jason, our son, has begun his college studies at Bethel College in McKenzie. He received a music scholarship and travels with the Renaissance Choir. He had his first trip this past weekend to three different performances - at Winchester, McMinnville and Manchester, Tennessee. We are proud of Jason and thankful that God is using him in the music ministry. He is studying to teach music. To God be the Glory for who He is and all He has done and is doing!

For the past few days, Sister Gordon and I have been to a funeral, a funeral home and hospitals the past few days. Robert George Hill's remains were laid to rest yesterday around 4:30 pm. Bobby was a very good man. He was a deacon at his local church. He was a faithful Christian, churchman and family man. The funeral was very touching and pertinent for Brother Bobby's life and celebration of going home to heaven. He is now with his wife, Linda, his father, Neely and others who have gone on.

Sister Gordon and I also visited the funeral home where two young men's remains are laid for memorial service today. One of our church attenders, Delilah Mummel, was very close to this family and we are praying for this family and all the friends. Brandon (22) and James (17) are now with their mother who died about a year ago with a brain aneurism. The middle brother and father is still alive and needs all the support the community and church can give them.

We visited the hospital this morning with Sister Susie Reynolds and her husband, Leon and daughter, Josie. Sister Reynolds is having knee surgery. We visited and prayed with her and stayed with the family some time to fellowship, support and encourage them. Sister Susie is in our continued prayer. Others who are requesting prayer are Lenne Mae Crossno, Bonnie Curtis, Jennie Sanders, Lilly Grooms, Daniel Conner (who is in Vanderbilt from a 4-wheeler accident), and others who are sick.

We are praying for revival here at Huntingdon and for God to bless this church and community richly.

Greetings. Since last posting Sister Gordon and I have visited with several families including church members and new contacts. I have served as Volunteer Chaplain at our local hospital this past week and have visited hospital rooms and CCU rooms. To visit with those in the hospital and pray with them and encourage them has been a great reward for me. Sometimes we go through sickness and don't know what will be the outcome but God knows all things and cares so very much for each one of us. He loves us sooooo. . .much that He gave His only begotten Son for us. . .

The family of Bobby Hill who went to be with Jesus this past Friday. Pray for our youth and children here in Huntingdon. Pray for the military in Iraq. We are very thankful for the opportunity to minister to the fine folks at the Huntingdon Church of God of Prophecy, the community and the surrounding area. Our services have been focusing on our vision for mission by seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, by seeking healing and restoration for the church and members in particular, and by being involved in the Great Commission by the power of the Great Commandment. We just praise the Lord for WHO HE IS and HOW GREAT HE IS! HE IS AWESOME!

Praise God! We are thankful for God's blessings and grace over the past week. Sister Gordon and I have traveled many miles and visited with Kathy, Don, Mel, J. E., Marie, James, Rita, Leslie, Mary and Trisha. We have been blessed to pray with many of these and to offer encouragement. Starting today, I am the Vol. Chaplain at our local hospital. I visited with ten patients today and prayed with them and encouraged them. Today's messages were "Vision - A Must for Church Growth" and "In God There Is Victory." The challenge was to the church to "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, to seek for healing and restoration and to be involved in the Great Commission." Thank God for His presence in both services. Sister Karen and I were blessed with a special offering today from the members and friends as they came up, greeted us and brought their offering. The people here at Huntingdon are great people of God and are a blessing. We are believing God for a forward move and godly success. To God BE The Glory!

Greetings. Since our last post Sister Gordon and I have been very involved in the church work. Our services Sunday (7/31/05) were great even though our attendance is down some (some out on vacation, visiting family, etc.). This was the last day of our first year to pastor here. Sunday morning was the Lord's Supper and the message text was Hebrews 13: 11, 12. God blessed as we partook of the bread and fruit of the vine that represents the broken body and shed blood of our Lord and Saviour. Sunday night was Pastoral Care emphasis. Each Care Leader shared their desires for their ministry and those under their care. Sister Gordon is the Pastoral Care Director and she encouraged each leader to do their best and keep focused on caring for each member. Each group had a great time of prayer, discussion and planning. The Care Groups will be meeting monthly in homes on a scheduled Sunday night or Wednesday night. One group will meet at the church to be there for visitors who may come in.

Since the last post Sister Gordon and I have traveled over 500 miles and have visited with the Kelly & Beth Moore, Paul, Josie & Lori Rivera, J. E. & Marie Moore, Brandon & Amber Moore, and Sammy and Dee Walker. We have also made contact with over twenty new homes - leaving information about the church and speaking with some of them. We are continuing to anticipate the time when the new building project gets underway at our new property.

Beginning this second year we are calling it the year of healing and restoration for our church. Healing of those who have been bruised by satan's deceits and schemes. Healing and restoration of those who have fallen and need to be restored back to their relationship with God. Restoration of respect for God, His Word, His Leaders and for each other. I believe Jesus, the Head of the Church, is calling us to focus on a year of healing and restoration.

Greetings to those who may read this. We were blessed to have Bishop E. C. McKinley to come and visit with the folks here at Huntingdon in last nights service. There were several who came out and it was good to see some who ordinarily don't come on Wednesday evening. Brother McKinley shared some things with the church. Many were made to understand that had not understood before. Before the service and after the service was over people were weeping and telling each other how much they loved and needed each other. Some who had become discouraged and were uplifted and others who were confused and misguided about some things were given clarification. The meeting, in this Pastor's opinion, was a success. We are continuing to pray for the growth and progress of the church here.
My day started at about 6:30 am with a 40 minute brisk walk. Then I did some research and reading until 8:45. From 8:50 - 9:55 I was in private devotion, prayer and worship.
Karen and I clipped our little Maltese Dog's fur off after that. He seemed to be very happy since it has been so hot and now he just has his bare skin. Sister Karen and I are going to be visiting some tonight and I will continue in my studies in the Doctorate of Ministry program.
There are many who need the Lord. If you are one of those, let me say God loves you and wants you to know His son in a very personal way.

Since my last post God has continued to bless in the ministry here at Huntingdon. Yesterday was a great day as the Lord blessed in our morning and evening services. The Holy Spirit was very present in both services as people worshipped and rejoiced with God's presence flowing in the midst. The Word went forth in both services. The text for Sunday morning's message was from Matthew 17:8 "And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only." and was entitled "God's Manifested Glory." God blessed greatly as I encouraged the people to keep their focus and affections on the One who died, rose again and is sitting at the right hand of His Father. God is great and greatly to be praised. The texts for Sunday evening's message were taken from Ephesians 6:11, 12 and Luke 12:24-26 and was entitled "The War of Wars". The Holy Ghost moved powerfully among the people as a message and interpretation was given, "the battle is raging in the heavenlies and I AM sending my angel to fight for you, he will bring victory, he will bring victory, he will bring victory." We give God praise, adoration and glory for He is great and His works are awesome.

I began my day at 6:00 am with a 2 mile walk in Veterans Park one mile from the parsonage. My devotion time was (6:45-7:45 am) especially blessed this morning as God dealt with me about some areas in my life that need more of His grace and power. God is awesome!

Today, tomorrow and Wednesday, I am continuing in my studies in the DMin. degree and will be visiting some. Bishop E. C. McKinley, Tennessee Church of God of Propehcy State Presiding Bishop, will be visiting the church here during the Wednesday evening service at 7 pm. Greetings to one and all. Since my last post, I have been continuing in study and prayer on Tuesday and part of today. Working on the Doctorate in Ministry is giving me some great material and inspiration for the ministry here at Huntingdon. I have been incorporating some of my studies with future leadership training and vision casting here at the local church.

Reading the Book, "Servant Evangelism" by Steve Sjogren has reinforced what I have believed for some time about some of the high pressure evangelism programs that Christians have been involved in. Kindness done with no motive except to be kind goes a long way to impact lives for Jesus Christ. Of course we want them to know Him, but we do not want to anger them in the process. Steve shares his experience as he began his Christian life. He tells of the time he was a "shark" evangelist. Then he was the "carp" evangelist. Then he tells about the "dolphin" evangelist - a balanced combination of the "shark" and "carp." This book is good reading for anyone in Christian ministry.

Wednesday evening was Family night here at the church. The Eaton Family was the honored family of the month. It was interesting to see the pictures of Ronnie and Debbie Eaton's family and to see how times have changed them. Ryan and Jason were very small in the 1980's and we enjoyed seeing some of their childhood pictures. Now they are both grown and have jobs of their own. Ronnie and Debbie looked like teenagers when they married and by the way they were - 19 & 18. Ronnie is the Minister of Music here at Huntingdon and Debbie is Heritage Ministries Director. We are thankful for the Eaton's and their voluntary leadership at the local church. They are a great blessing.
Today Sister Karen and I visited the nursing home here in Huntingdon. Sister Bonnie Crossno Curtis was very receptive as always and we had a great time of prayer with her. We also prayed with her roommate who is bedfast from a stroke. She responded by moving her had to try to reach ours. We felt the Spirit in a great measure as we prayed with her and Sister Bonnie. We visited with Ronnie and Debbie this evening to pray with them about some needs in their family. The Holy Ghost was there in a mighty way as we wept and prayed together. TGBTG!

It is now 9:45 pm and I am going to study some more and try to get my first lesson module ready to send in for the DMin. God's blessings. . . Thanks for stopping by and come again. . .

What an awesome State Convention. Bishop E. C. McKinley moderated a great time of campmeeting and the Holy Ghost blessed throughout. Sister Gordon, my son Jason, my daughter Sarah and my little granddaughter were there. It was a very powerful time of seeing God move in awesome ways. The singing, the worship, the preaching the drama and the reports were all blessed of God. We praise God for this great time of spiritual feasting and growing in the good things of God.

As pastor, I am anticipating with great joy and expectation the continued work here at Huntingdon. Souls are out there needing their only hope for eternity. One of the great emphases in the State Convention was "GO". By God's grace and surrender to Him daily we must GO here at Huntingdon. It is my prayer that all our people here will get the GO spirit. Jesus has promised "power for service" and that is what we expect and believe.

Today, I am continuing to pray for the work here and will be visiting some, studying some and doing some planning for the work here. I will also be in meditation and solitude part of the day. There is a harvest out there. Laborers are needed! I am one of those laborers. I must GO! I must GO! I must GO! I am Looking Upward to God. . .I am Looking Inward to the great lack that must be filled daily in my spiritual life. . . .and I am Looking Outward to the great harvest where people are dying without Him. . . Let me reach that one who is closest to eternity!

Since Monday of this week I have been visiting with my daughter, Sarah and her husband Chris Holman. Of course being with their little daughter and son has been a special treat for my wife Karen and I. Grandchildren are just that grand. Today we will be visiting with our daughter Heather and husband Sammy Hall and grandchildren Courtney and Caleb. Then going to see my daughter Danita. Shane, her husband, has a birthday today but we won't see him since he is in Florida with his father, Tommy Queener and his mother Yvonne. We did send him a card. We believe in family and pray for our family every day. Jason, our son, is with us and he is going to the State Convention with us this week and will be playing keyboard in children church and helping along with my wife and daughter Sarah.

State Convention. . .that brings great thoughts of great campmeeting type services with the presence of the Lord moving in a great way and our State Overseer encourging and leading the way into the worship of God. We anticipate a great move of the Holy Ghost as we worship God and fellowship with the saints.

I will be anticipating with great enthusiasm of going back to our home church at Huntingdon and continuing with the great ministry there. Our vision is enlarging and becoming more dynamic as we continue to join with Jesus and the Holy Spirit daily.

Greetings to those who read my blog. Yesterday (7/9/05) was a day of prayer, study and prepartion for church services. Sister Karen and I did visit one member who is 80 plus years old. We had a great time of prayer with Sister Jennie Sanders and we also enjoyed the blackberries next to her house as we picked them and ate them right off the vine.

Today the Lord met with us in a great way in our services. The message this morning was Three Necessary Elements of Biblical Unity. God blessed mightily. I challenged the members to work together, pray together, and love each other. We went to the new church property after the morning service and joined hands in a circle of prayer asking God to have his way and give direction as we continue to seek His will for a new building. Everyone was very pleased with the look of the property and how Brother Moore has landscaped it and made it look even more beautiful. Brothe J. C. Palmer said, "this is my first time to see it and it (the property) goes beyond my greatest expectations." Everyone enjoyed the time of going to the property and praying together. This was our first time, since I have been pastor, that we have gone to the property and prayed together.

This evening was our monthly singing night. There were songs of worship, praise and testimonies. One Brother, Leon Reynolds, testified that his daughter has recently accepted the Lord as her savior. She is 41 years old. We give God the glory! The singers tonight were a great blessing. Thank God for Brother Ronnie Eaton the Music Minister. Thank God for Sister Delilah, Sister Lori, Sister Cathy, Brother Jason and all who joined in to make the singing a great time of worship and praise. Also thank God for two little angels, Mariah and England, who sang some very sweet songs. We are looking for great things here at Huntingdon Church of God of Prophecy as we love and serve God.

This coming week is the Tennessee State Convention. We had special prayer tonight for State Overseer, E. C. McKinley and the state convention. I will not be logging anything in until after the convention (July 18 or later). I will catch up then. Thanks for stopping by and God bless.

Greetings. Yesterday, 7/7/05, I went with my wife to support her as she interviewed (10:30 am & 1:30 pm) at two schools for a teaching position in the Paris, TN area. She said the interviews went well and she hopes to hear from one of her interviews. She has had several interviews in the area. After the interviews Sister Gordon and I stopped by to see one of the members, Debbie Eaton, at her office for a few minutes. We enjoyed the visit with her. Then we went to the McKenzie Nursing Home facility and visited with another member Sister Lenne Mae Crossno. She expressed her gratitude that we came by. We encouraged her and prayed with her. Then we came home for a time of rest and had a meal.

Around 4:30 pm Deacon J. E. Moore called. He was over working on the new property that the church purchased a couple years ago. He is using his and his son's equipment to landscape the property. The property is beginning to look great. We have plans of building a new multi-purpose building, a pavilion, and classrooms. While there I helped pick up loose stumps and sticks and threw them in a fire. I left there and came back home.

I continued in my studies in the Doctorate of Ministry program from Trinity Seminary for an hour or so and then got ready to go the church league softball game at 8:30 pm. We have about 20 adult persons participating in this. The games are for fun and fellowship. It is a co-ed league and equal males and females have to play. We played the McKenzie Church of Christ. They played very well and won by 22 to 13. That makes our record 2 wins and 2 losses. After the game my wife and I talked with some of the church members for about an hour.

We got home at about 10:45 pm and I studied and meditated again for about an hour. I retired around 12 midnight remember drifting off to sleep around 1230 am.

At 6 am today I began with writing a letter that I needed to get done and working on some church business. I am continuing in the doctorate studies and also preparing for this coming Sunday Services. God is awesome! Thanks for stopping by and stop again.

This is my first time to post here. So I am learning. I have chosen the name Eagle Flight. I believe that is what a growing Christian experiences as s/he grows daily in relationship with Jesus Christ.

I am Bishop Milton Gordon, Senior Pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy, Huntingdon, Tennessee. I have been here since August 1, 2004 and just about to complete my first year here. There are 45 members of the church here and about half that many who attend who are not membes. Our extended congregation is approximately 125-150 people. The church here purchased about 7.6 acres of land a couple years ago and it is almost paid for. The church is planning to build in the near future. My wife Karen is a faithful companion who has served withme for over 23 years. She is a licensed minister and a licensed school teacher in Tennessee. We have four children and four grandchildren. I am a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a BS in History and hold an MA from Church of God Theological Seminary in counseling and ministry. I am currently in the DMin. program at Trinity Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana.

I will be posting here 3-4 times a week. Tonight was prayer and worship at our church. The text was from Romans 8:28. During the service one sister received a cell phone call from her granddaughter. This frustrated the sister at first but when she went to the front of the building to answer the phone a young homeless man was there who was hitch-hiking to Texas from Massachutses (sp?). He would not come in because he said he has tourettes and would distract from the service. I went out and spoke with the young man who asked if the church could help him with a little money to help buy food. He was very kind and respectful. I asked him to come in. He finally did as the singers were continuing to worship. I asked if we could pray for him and motioned him to come forward. He came forward with his head down and we prayed for him. He said, "thank you pastor" and walked back to his seat. The church then received a $120.00 offering for him. I asked him how his trip has been. He said, "well I have had some good rides and I only hitch-hike off the interstate because it is against the law to hitch-hike on the interstate." He then went on his way again.

The sister then realized that the cell phone call was what got her to the outside of the building and there she saw and spoke to this young man - so she could let us know he was there. Yes, "we know that all things work together for good to them who love the Lord, to them who are the called according to his purpose." We were allowed to give to "one of the least of these. . ." To God we give praise!
